MAN is driving the Bundesliga for another three years

MAN extends sponsorship of another five soccer clubs in the Bundesliga. MAN and Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended their partnership which began back in 2012 by another three years until 2019. The news was announced by Stephan A.C. Schippers, Managing Director of VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach 1900 GmbH and Hartmut Sander, Vice President of MAN Truck & Bus AG.

“Borussia is delighted about the ongoing partnership and looks forward to continuing together on this successful course,” says Stephan Schippers. Hartmut Sander is also pleased: “Over the past few years during which we have worked together, the Club has managed to establish itself in the top ranks of the Bundesliga. The Eleven Foals have already made a name for themselves in Europe. The partnership is an integral part of our national and international brand communication. By extending the contract, we are now continuing our successful path together for another three years.”

MAN’s commitment to VfL goes far beyond providing a vehicle, yet it always centers on the Club’s team MAN Lion's Coach L. “Every year we come up with new innovative ways to successfully stage the mythical world of the team bus. That’s how we bring our brand to life in the world of soccer,” continues Sander.

“The team bus is so much more than a means of transportation for us. It is where we prepare for the match and where our players then regenerate. That is why we are really happy that MAN has provided us with such an excellent product for years,” says Borussia’s Sponsoring Director Guido Uhle. “The partnership with MAN is an important one for us.”

MAN and Borussia Dortmund have extended their partnership which began back in 2010 by another three years until 2019. The news was announced by Hans-Joachim Watzke, Managing Director / Chairman of Borussia Dortmund, and Hartmut Sander, Vice President of MAN Truck & Bus AG.

“We are delighted that the partnership with MAN will be continuing. Together, we have already brought home the Champion Shield and the DFB Cup. We want to continue this successful course as partners,” says Hans-Joachim Watzke. Hartmut Sander is also pleased: “We have been on the road with BVB for six years now and have seen it go from an absolutely top-class national team to an international one. In light of our internationalization strategy, the partnership is an integral part of our brand communication. With the extension of our contract, we wish to build on our successful course to date and look forward to three more years with BVB.”

MAN’s commitment goes far beyond providing a vehicle, and yet it always centers on the Club’s team MAN Lion's Coach L. “BVB has turned into a brand with international appeal. We can also benefit from this. Numerous trips abroad enable us to reach additional target markets with our product and bring our partnerships to life for the local sales regions too,” continues Sander.

MAN continues to accompany FC Augsburg on its trips.

MAN and FC Augsburg have extended their partnership which began back in 2015 by another three years until 2019. The news was announced by Peter Bircks, Marketing Director of FC Augsburg 1907 GmbH & Co. KGaA and Hartmut Sander, Vice President of MAN Truck & Bus AG.

“We are very proud of the fact that we have been able to engage such a competent partner for FCA in the form of MAN for a long period of time and that we will continue to enjoy the best quality on our trips,” says Peter Bircks.

Hartmut Sander is also pleased: “Now in its fifth consecutive season, FCA has been able to successfully establish itself in the Bundesliga. In our very first year of partnering with the Club, we accompanied it through Europe straight off. A large number of employees among us are also fans of FCA. In light of this, we are optimistic about the future and are delighted that our contract has been extended for another three years.”

The partnership centers on the Club’s team bus — an MAN Lion’s Coach L from company Ludwig Tours’ fleet. “Last year we highlighted the close ties between MAN, FCA, and the City of Augsburg with the bus presentation at the Diesel & Turbo Augsburg site — an emotional partnership that is profitable for all those involved,” continues Sander.

MAN and Hamburger SV have extended their partnership which began back in 2010 for another three years until 2019. The news was announced by Oliver Poppelbaum, Head of Digital, Sales & CRM for HSV Fußball AG and Hartmut Sander, Vice President of MAN Truck & Bus AG.

“Hamburger Sportverein is delighted to have extended the partnership with MAN. Together we will continue to actively develop our successful course further,” explains Poppelbaum. Hartmut Sander is also pleased: “As a founding member of the Bundesliga, HSV has a particular appeal. The Club has a long history with many triumphs and is especially popular in our Northern sales region. The cooperation with HSV is an integral part of our national activities and we are very optimistic about the next three years together.”

MAN and VfL Wolfsburg have extended their partnership which began back in 2010 for another three years until 2019. The news was announced by Thomas Röttgermann, Managing Director of VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH and Hartmut Sander, Vice President of MAN Truck & Bus AG.

“We are delighted that our long-standing partner MAN has extended its commitment to VfL Wolfsburg for another three years. Together we will continue the successful course,” emphasizes Thomas Röttgermann. Hartmut Sander is also pleased: “We have been on the road with VfL for six years now and have even joined them in celebrating a special triumph with the DFB Cup win in 2015. Many of the 2,500 employees at our Salzgitter production site are VfL fans.
