Seven new MAN TGX for Circus Krone
Circus Krone, the leading circus in Europe, has taken delivery of seven new MAN semi-trailer tractors, type TGX 18.440. The vehicles are equipped with economical, low-pollution 440-hp MAN diesel engines, complying with the Euro 5 standard. Automatic MAN TipMatic gearboxes guarantee high levels of shifting comfort, even when manoeuvring, while overall comfort for the drivers is more than adequately provided for by the spacious XXL cabs. The powerful pre-heating system and Nordic cab insulation ensure that the climate also remains pleasant in the winter months. Naturally, Circus Krone's new MAN vehicles have been issued with green emission stickers and are permitted to enter and travel freely in environmentally sensitive inner cities.
On occasion of the vehicle handover, lion-tamer Martin Lacey Jr. of Circus Krone said: "The most important aspects we kept in mind when we were purchasing our new vehicles were of course things like economy, eco-friendliness, safety and reliability. Our new MAN tractors more than meet all these criteria, but what I find particularly charming is the MAN lion on the radiator grille!"
"For us as the manufacturers of the MAN TGX it is a very special pleasure to be able to count Circus Krone, the premium brand in the circus world, among our customers. We too see the sensitive transport of circus animals and equipment as a challenging task and for this reason, we are proud of the trust that has been placed in our vehicles," said Jürgen Messmer, Head of Marketing & Communication at MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH.
