MAN Truck & Bus UK to become part of the family
Leading manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus UK is supplying family run, Welshpool-based Recycling specialist Parry & Evans with seven MAN ve-hicles to meet increasing demand.
The paper and cardboard recycling company have been in the business for over 50 years and is now one of the leading recycling companies in the UK.
Parry & Evans operates more than 25 vehicles in their fleet with the addition of three new MAN TGS 26.400 6X2-2 BL, a MAN TGX 26.480 6X2-2 BLS, and three MAN TopUsed vehicles including two MAN TGX 26.440 XLX tractor units.
All vehicles will be livered out in the Parry & Evans' striking design, featuring a large red welsh dragon on the side of the cabs.
Lee Evans, Ops Director, said: "Parry & Evans has been established since 1961 and we are still a family-run firm.
"The business has enjoyed continuous expansion from its inception in the early years, as each of the three generations have joined and contributed to innovations that have resulted in a steady growth for the business.
"These new vehicles will be put to work across the country and with MAN we know our drivers will be happy. The cabs are spacious and comfortable and from a business perspective, they are both economical and reliable.
"We have taken out the full repair and maintenance contracts on all vehicles and AN Richards have been extremely helpful throughout the process. We have taken interim rental vehicles using their spot hire package."
