“MAN TGX tractors have played a major part in our vehicle fleet for some years now,” said Eurof Owen, Commercial Director. “Our MAN trucks have proven robust, reliable, and extremely efficient and we’re looking forward to the new vehicles arriving.

“The MAN TGX’s are also a firm favourite with our drivers who appreciate the cabs spacious interior, the build quality and the overall driving experience. Eurof Owen continued: “Over the years we have formed an excellent working relationship with our local MAN dealership, W.G. Davies of Swansea. The team there totally understand the needs of our business and offer us an outstanding level of support, helping us maximise our fleets productivity and uptime. They are always on hand and ready to assist.”

The new MAN TGX trucks are all powered by MAN’s latest’s generation D26 Euro6D six-cylinder 12.4 litre engines, which have not only proved to be 8% better on fuel than the predecessor model but also 80 kg lighter, both areas that proactively impact upon fleet Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and vehicle whole life performance. With their 6x2 mid lift axle configuration, they offer a robust and payload efficient tractor solution.

Eurof added: “We invest in and refresh our fleet regularly and today 90 percent of our vehicles are under three years old. Because of the company ethos we are able to take advantage of the latest manufacturer technology, including fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly drivetrains, advanced safety systems, telematics, and driver creature comforts.

“Looking forward we are sure that these new MAN TGX’s will serve us well. And with the focused relationships we have with both MAN Truck & Bus UK, Dave Hopkins, MAN Direct Sales Executive, and with Roger Davies and Malcolm Jones at W.G. Davies, we know our trucks are in good hands.” concluded Eurof.
