MAN Bus & Coach handover 400th Neoplan Tourliner to Buckleys Tours of Doncaster.

The team at MAN Bus & Coach UK made sure it was a moment to remember when Buckleys Tours took delivery of the 400th Neoplan Tourliner sold in the UK.

MAN Bus & Coach general manager, Wayne Ulph arranged for a model commemorative vehicle to be presented to holiday provider, Buckleys Tours, in conjunction with the delivery of their Neoplan Tourliner Select P21, the 400th Neoplan Tourliner to be sold in the UK.

The landmark deal was struck at the Euro Bus Expo 2016 in Birmingham, which MAN Bus & Coach hailed as their most successful exhibition to date. The company secured 14 new sales as well as signing a multi-million deal with Arriva.

Buckleys Tours, a family run business based in Doncaster, now operates six Neoplan Tourliners in its fleet. The coach holiday provider travels to UK and European destinations, as well as offering day trips, weekend and mini tours.

Its latest addition to the fleet is a Neoplan Tourliner Select P21, 53 seater with twin monitors and DVD and will be operating on a school contract. It is fitted with emergency brake assist and lane guard and is powered by an MAN D20 10.5l 400 bhp Euro 6 engine.

Richard Buckley said: "We are honoured to be the customer to purchase MAN's 400th Neoplan Tourliner which will be travelling across the UK and Europe and will go straight into service."

"Our drivers are proud to be behind the wheel of an MAN coach and our customers receive the quality travelling experience they require.

"The aftersales and support we receive as an MAN customer is always second to none and this paired with the quality of vehicle makes them perfect for our business."

Wayne Ulph said, "Selling our 400th Neoplan Tourliner marks a landmark in the MAN Bus & Coach sales. It is a fantastic testament to the MAN brand that our customers have shown such loyalty through the years, Buckleys being one of them.

"We look forward to continuing with the success of the Neoplan and the future launch of the MAN TGE with potential additions for the minibus market."
