Friedrich Baumann new head of sales and customer solutions at MAN
Göran Nyberg takes over Baumann's function as Executive Vice President Commercial Operations at Navistar
The Executive Vice President Commercial Operations of the US commercial vehicle manufacturer Navistar, Friedrich Baumann, will become a member of the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE in the same function. As the Executive Board member responsible for Sales and Customer Solutions, he succeeds Göran Nyberg, who is taking over Baumann's position at Navistar, which, like MAN, is part of the TRATON GROUP.

Baumann joined the Navistar executive team in April 2018. Initially responsible for corporate strategy and planning, he soon was named head of the aftersales organization, overseeing parts and service, uptime and warranty. In his most recent role, Baumann restructured Navistar’s commercial business into one integrated organization.
Baumann began his career with Daimler Trucks North America in 1993. He has held various executive management positions with Daimler Trucks North America and other units of Daimler AG in procurement, used truck and remanufacturing. Before joining Navistar, Baumann was the head of aftermarket at Daimler Trucks North America and member of the operating committee.
