MAN says thank you to all female drivers

Summary

MAN Truck & Bus is using International Women's Day on 8 March as an opportunity to pay tribute to all female drivers and women in other logistics professions for their work with numerous campaigns.

Drivers are always in the focus of MAN's attention when developing new vehicles. But on the occasion of International Women's Day, various campaigns specifically focus on female drivers. The most visible example is the renaming of a new TGX as well as the team bus of FC Bayern from MAN to WOMAN. The golden WOMAN TGX was raffled off within the MAN Trucker's World Community to a female driver who is now allowed to drive this unique vehicle for a while.

Julia Beitler gives an insight into the exciting life of a female truck driver, who presents the everyday life of a real trucker in a home story on the MAN YouTube channel. Other competitions, in which participation in training courses is raffled off, among other things, round off the campaigns.

"On International Women's Day, MAN would like to say thank you and express our appreciation to all female colleagues. Our common goal is for equal opportunities to become a living practice. MAN is proud of all its female drivers. We do actively support them with this campaign," emphasises Göran Nyberg, Executive Board Member for Sales and Marketing at MAN Truck & Bus SE.

Even 110 years after the first International Women's Day, the demands for dignified work and fair wages are still relevant. International Women's Day 2021 reminds us of this - as does MAN Truck & Bus with the help of these campaigns.
