Decarbonizing without going into debt: MAN Truck & Bus France and Fraikin France partner to offer electric trucks for lease to transport companies
Faced with the economic challenges of fleet electrification, MAN Truck & Bus France and Fraikin France signed a partnership agreement on November 17th. By combining their expertise, the two companies aim to offer leasing solutions that enable carriers to adopt electric trucks without compromising their investment capacity.
The transition to electric trucks presents a major challenge: the investment capacity of transport companies. With a significantly higher acquisition cost than conventional trucks, electric vehicles represent a substantial investment. This reality limits companies’ ability to renew their fleets quickly or make future investments, despite the environmental and regulatory benefits. To support this shift, leasing solutions are expanding and now account for around one-third of the new electric truck market in France. These solutions are essential to making electromobility accessible and accelerating the decarbonization of road transport.
Beyond its natural partnership with MAN Rental, MAN Truck & Bus France supports Fraikin France on electromobility topics through its team of consultants, offering a comprehensive approach, in-house training and demonstration vehicles. Fraikin France, for its part, is prioritizing MAN vehicles within its sales strategy.
The new partnership was signed on November 17th and takes effect from the opening of the Solutrans 2025 trade fair.
