On the occasion of the Solutrans trade fair, MAN showcases its expertise by presenting its wide range of zero-emission and low-carbon vehicles, adapted to numerous transport applications, its feedback from electric truck fleets across Europe, as well as its new partnership with EDF and its subsidiaries IZIVIA and Dreev, aimed in particular at reducing the operating cost of electric vehicles.

For the 2025 edition of the Solutrans trade fair, MAN is taking a strong stand: road freight transport can now operate without fossil fuels. The manufacturer is presenting its wide range of electric trucks, including the world premiere of the MAN eTGL equipped with a refrigerated body, as well as the expansion of its biofuel offering with the launch of its B100 Exclusive option for vehicles fitted with the D30 engine.
In addition, MAN is demonstrating operating cost parity between a MAN electric truck and its combustion equivalent—an essential milestone for the large-scale adoption of electromobility. In 2026, MAN Truck & Bus France will launch the ‘MAN Charging 360’ offer in partnership with EDF and its subsidiaries IZIVIA and Dreev. Through this offer, French companies beginning their energy transition could benefit from an operating cost for the MAN eTGX electric truck that is 3% lower than that of an equivalent truck running on traditional B7 diesel.
As part of its broader strategy, MAN continues to explore all viable technologies currently available and is showcasing the MAN hTGX hydrogen combustion engine truck. Although this model does not yet offer optimal economic competitiveness, it remains an interesting complement to the manufacturer’s zero-emission lineup and could gain importance in the future depending on energy cost developments.
Finally, MAN is announcing a new partnership with Fraikin to offer electric trucks for lease, thereby helping transport operators preserve their investment capacity.
