MAN awarded Gold in EcoVadis sustainability rating
· MAN Truck & Bus ranks among the top five percent of companies assessed worldwide in 2026 in the “Manufacture of motor vehicles” industry segment
· Significant improvement from 70 to 82 points compared with the previous year confirms progress across all four sustainability areas assessed
EcoVadis, a globally recognized provider of corporate sustainability ratings, has once again awarded MAN Truck & Bus a Gold Medal. With 82 out of 100 points, MAN ranks among the top five percent of companies assessed in the “Manufacture of motor vehicles” industry segment. After receiving a Silver Medal last year, MAN has returned to Gold status, significantly improving its score from 70 to 82 points. The rating recognizes MAN’s holistic approach across the four areas assessed by EcoVadis: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Fabian Heidinger, Head of Sustainability at MAN, comments on the EcoVadis Gold award: “Sustainability is not created in one individual area, but through interaction across the entire company, from product development and production to procurement and the supply chain, as well as HR, compliance and many other functions. The significant improvement in our rating shows that we have succeeded in making these diverse activities even more transparent and traceable.”
MAN achieved a particularly strong score in Environment, with 86 out of 100 points. The company also scored 81 points in both Labor & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement. In Ethics, MAN achieved 74 points. Among other aspects, the assessment recognizes the consistent integration of sustainability into corporate processes, ambitious climate targets, responsible supply chain management, comprehensive management systems and transparent sustainability reporting.
