Michael Kobriger reappointed as MAN Executive Board member for Production and Logistics for another five years

The Supervisory Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE has reappointed Michael Kobriger as the Executive Board member responsible for the Production & Logistics business unit for a further five-year term until 2031. “Over the past years, Michael Kobriger has played a key role in making MAN’s manufacturing network more resilient and preparing its logistics operations for the future. In the years ahead, the new modular system of the TRATON Group will be introduced, requiring further upgrades and enhancements at our plants in Germany as well as at our international production sites across Europe. I look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with Michael Kobriger,” said Alexander Vlaskamp, CEO of MAN Truck & Bus.

A native of Nuremberg, Michael Kobriger has held a variety of positions within MAN. Prior to joining the Executive Board, he served as Head of the Bus business unit at MAN Truck & Bus. After earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, he began his career with MAN Truck & Bus in 1997 as a Project Engineer in truck production in Munich. During his career at MAN, Michael Kobriger also served as Plant Manager in Poland and as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in India.
